Fall into the Gap

I found a job!!! Ok I really didn't find it but Liz, another dental school wife, hooked me up. Firday was my first day and they didn't have time to give me an orientation so they just had me in the kids section. I folded clothes, greeted customers, and at the end of the day helped take down mannequins. I won't start officialy until october 7th. It's not the most thought provoking job but it gets me out of my house, I get paid, and I get a sweet discount. Thanks Liz!

Dodge, duck, dip, and Dodge again

Last night Jacob's school had the Great Dugoni Dodgeball Tourny. It was held at our LDS ward building and let's just say it was an interesting night. I never thought I would here 'Gangsta's Paradise' and "Whoop there it is" in the church building. I also never thought I would see this at a church building

It reminded us of Never Nudes (If you don't know what this means I'm willing to help direct you to the funniest tv series there is)

The night really was fun though and the music did add a lot. Each class had about two teams and it came down to the first years vs. the third years. Who won you ask? The FIRST year's of course.

A couple of weekends ago I let Morgan get a taste of the dental student life and she did a great job. She'd definately make a great dentist, and be a really cute one too.

On Satuday Jacob's dental school had softball tournament. I was expecting a nice day at the park reading my book while watching me husband play. That is not what happened. A few of their players couldn't make it so they needed me to play. Visions of me playing t-ball ran across my mind. The only thing I can really remember from my t-ball years was being put in the outfield where no small kid can really hit the ball and getting hit in the face with the ball whenever a team mate did throw me the ball. Obviously I wasn't thrilled about this but I decided to be a good sport and play. Don't tell jacob this but i actually did have fun.

 The team name was "clinically unexceptable." The shirts have a (x)OX which mean "over extended." In normal language this means FAIL. Don't you just love dental jokes

I played catcher most of the time (because all you had to do was throw the ball back to the pitcher) but during the second game I played third base. Yeah I throw like a girl

WHIFF!

Our team lost the first game, tied the second, and lost the third so we were out of the tournament. I was actually surprised by how well we did. We managed to hold our own and not get completly creamed.
