Weekend Project

This weekend Jacob and I decided to rearrange and spruce up our bedroom. We moved his desk to be closer to mine and switched the direction of the bed. I really like the change so far. The biggest thing for me was finding a cheap way to hid all our rubbermaids and boxes. This is what the corner of our room looked like before.
I hated waking up and seeing this every morning. It was an ugly reminder that we were still college students who couldn't afford a decent bedroom set/storage closet. So we took a trip and with a little work we got this
Nothing amazing but it hides the eye sore. It kinda looks like we have a shower in our bedroom but I'll take that over cardboard boxes and storagebins anyday.

I like it! and I bet your room looks a lot better than ours did freshman year when we rearranged things and pushed our beds together:)Good times though!

Clever, clever, clever!!!
Good handyman skills, Jacob.
In just a few years you will be able to have rooms with closets--and these will be fond memories.

I like it! I hope you don't mind if we copy your idea and put a shower in our bedroom next year. I am sure we will need it. But it could lead to some fun sleep walking adventures.

Wow! Fabulous photos of SF, especially the bridge. Really takes me back to the 60's! Enjoy!
