Ultimate Couples Weekend!!!

Over labor day weekend Jacob and I were invited by our friends the Larsens to participate in their annual Ultimate Couples Weekend (UCW). Sarah was nice enough to open up her parents place in Laguna beach for several couples to come and hangout for the weekend. WE had a blast! Thanks Sarah and Patrick for planning this fab vacation.

Back in San Francisco we attended a surprise birthday party for Emily and got this great group pic (thanks julie) of most of the dental school families. Still can't believe this is our last year.

Baby Shower

This past week I was able to fly home and visit my family. The trip was completely last minute but soo much fun. My mom and sister-in-law Jessica threw together an amazing baby shower for me too. Get ready for picture overload

I just want to say thank you to everyone for coming. I know it was last minute and the weekend before school stated but thanks for coming out. Our little girl will now have clothes, lotion, toys, and a stroller!

Baby Girl!

Last week Jacob and I went to get an ultrasound to check up on our little baby. We found out we are having a girl! We couldn't be more excited. Jacob keeps reminding me that not all her clothes have to be pink and frilly.

I recently switched doctors and the difference in facilities is night and day. The last time I got an ultrasound it was in a big room with curtains to divide patients. I got placed next to the drunk bum which was interesting. This time we went to a fancy shmancy office with individual rooms and they even made a cd with photos. Our little girl was folded in half with her feet in her face for the whole appointment so it was hard to get a decent shot. Everything looks healthy and normal now though so that's all that matter.

I'm posting the pics mostly for our parents because to be honest I think they are kinda scary, especially the 3d ones. With the feet, hands, and umbilical cord she's kinda looking like the swamp monster. We love our little monster though!

Acoustigasm

My school holds a music show every quarter and this time myself and two classmates (Jason and Rad) thought we would participate. It's great to have a venue like this to channel our inner rock stars. We played two songs and although we weren't perfect and there were some technical difficulties we had a great time. We're already starting to prepare for the next show. Any requests?

Baby update

Family has been asking for picture updates so here we go. To find out how far along we were I had an ultrasound to measure what size baby was. I guess that little dot is a baby at 7 weeks and 1 day.

14 weeks and i just feel like a look chubby

Finally it resembles a baby. Here's our baby at a little over 15 weeks.

I'll probably have another ultrasound in mid august and hopefully we will be able to find out the sex!

Jeremiah's Visit

Jacob's brother Jeremiah came to visit us for his birthday. I was feeling sick for a good part of it but we still managed to have a great time. The boys got to surf and golf, we went to see toy story 3 (so cute) and Jeremiah got to explore downtown SF



We had a great time Jeremiah and you are welcome back anytime!
